Imagine Having a Twin You Didn’t Know About
After complaining about abdominal pains, the parents of a 9 yr old Athens girl took her to Larissa General Hospital where they found and surgically removed a growth on the right side of her stomach.
After further investigation of the growth, doctors realized that the growth was actually the girls’ embryonic twin that measured over 2” long. The embryo was a formed fetus with a head, hair and eyes.
